Privacy Policy
This English version is provided for reference. The Korean version prevails.
YOUNGWOO CHEM Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly.
1. Personal Information Collected
The Website operates without user accounts and collects personal information only in the following cases:
- When you submit an inquiry (required): company name, name, email, phone number, inquiry details
- Automatically while you use the Website: IP address, access time, browser and device information (including security signals used for bot protection)
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
- Receiving inquiries, verifying the requester, and responding to and following up on inquiries
- Blocking automated spam and abuse, and keeping the Website stable and secure
3. Retention Period
- Inquiry information: retained for one year after the consultation is completed, then destroyed.
- Access logs: retained until the security and operational purposes are fulfilled, for no longer than one year.
- Where applicable laws require retention, information is kept for the period prescribed by those laws.
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties, except with the data subject’s separate consent or where required by law.
5. Outsourcing of Processing
The Company outsources the processing of personal information as follows to provide its services:

The Company’s agreements with these processors include the measures required by law to keep personal information secure.
6. Transfer of Personal Information Overseas
The processors above operate servers outside Korea, so personal information is transferred overseas as follows:

- Time and method of transfer: transmitted over the network when an inquiry is submitted or the Website is accessed
- Retention period: same as Section 3
- How to refuse and consequences: if you do not want your information transferred overseas, you may contact us by phone (+82-32-621-7742) instead of using the inquiry form. In that case the Website’s inquiry form cannot be used.
7. Destruction Procedure and Method
- Personal information is destroyed without delay once the retention period expires or the purpose of processing is fulfilled.
- Electronic files are deleted so that they cannot be recovered, and information stored in email and spreadsheets is permanently deleted.
8. Rights of Data Subjects
You may at any time request access to, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information. Please send requests to the Privacy Officer below by email or phone; the Company will act on them without delay.
9. Security Measures
- HTTPS encryption across the entire Website
- Server keys and access credentials used to process inquiries are kept only in non-public environment variables
- Automated request blocking (Cloudflare Turnstile)
- Access to personal information limited to the minimum number of staff
10. Cookies and Third-Party Services
The Company does not use cookies for visitor tracking or advertising. However, the bot protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) and the map on the Location page (Google Maps) may use cookies under their providers’ policies.

12. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies from {{TODO: 시행일 YYYY-MM-DD}}. Any changes will be announced on the Website at least 7 days before they take effect.
