Terms of Use

This English version is provided for reference. The Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of YOUNGWOO CHEM Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and users in connection with the services provided on the website operated by the Company (https://youngwoochem.com, the “Website”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. “Website” means the website operated by the Company using information and communication facilities to provide company information and inquiry services.
2. “User” means any person who accesses the Website and uses the services provided by the Company under these Terms.
3. “Inquiry” means a request made by a User through the Website’s inquiry form for consultation on products, materials or technical matters.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

1. These Terms take effect when posted on the Website.
2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions.
3. When amending these Terms, the Company will post the effective date and the reason for the amendment on the Website at least 7 days before the effective date, or at least 30 days before for changes unfavorable to Users.
4. Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the services.

Article 4 (Services)

The Company provides the following services through the Website:

1. Company information, including company profile, materials handled, applications and location
2. Receiving and responding to Inquiries
3. Other services determined and announced on the Website by the Company

The Website can be used without registration, and no products are sold or paid for through the Website. Actual transaction terms are subject to a separate agreement between the Company and the User after consultation.

Article 5 (Changes to and Suspension of Services)

1. The Company may change all or part of the services for operational or technical reasons and will announce material changes on the Website.
2. The Company may temporarily suspend the services in the event of maintenance, inspection, replacement or failure of facilities, communication outages, natural disasters or other force majeure.

Article 6 (User Obligations)

Users must not:

1. Use another person’s information or submit Inquiries containing false information
2. Repeatedly submit Inquiries using automated programs or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the services
3. Alter information posted on the Website or use it for commercial purposes without the Company’s prior consent
4. Damage the reputation of, or interfere with the business of, the Company or any third party
5. Engage in any other conduct that violates applicable laws

Article 7 (Intellectual Property)

1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the text, logo, design and other content on the Website belong to the Company or the respective rights holders.
2. Trade names and trademarks of suppliers mentioned on the Website belong to their respective owners; the Company provides only links to supplier websites.
3. Users may not reproduce, distribute, transmit or create derivative works from the content of the Website without the Company’s prior consent.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company is not liable for failure to provide the services due to force majeure such as natural disasters or failure of communication facilities, except in cases of the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
2. Product information on the Website is provided for general guidance only; suitability for a specific use must be confirmed through consultation.
3. The Company is not responsible for the content of external websites linked from the Website.
4. The Company is not responsible for delayed or missed responses caused by incorrect information entered by a User in an Inquiry.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. These Terms and the use of the services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Any dispute between the Company and a User arising from the use of the services shall be brought before the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
